Dortmund Rejects Man Utd’s Transfer Bid for Sancho
Borussia Dortmund have turned down Manchester United’s £67m opening bid for England winger, Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils are reportedly still in talks with the German club about the transfer fee, however, their first offer was too low, with Dortmund expecting nothing less than £77.5m for the star.
Despite the rejection, Sancho remains a top target for Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and the tactician intends to revise the offer.
Reports also suggest that both clubs are willing to get this deal finalised, with other transfer terms such as agent fees and personal terms expected to run smoothly.
The England international whose contract with Dortmund is expected to end in two years, is currently busy with EURO 2020.
When asked if the transfer speculations aren’t a distraction for him during the competition, he responded: “No, I’m cool about it. You know, there’s always going to be speculation, especially when you do well. It’s just how you handle that on the pitch and just keep doing what you’re doing.”
